Black Coffee Productions (BCP) is proud to announce the casting of their first Fresh Grind Festival which will showcase ten staged readings of new works. A diverse group of forty-three actors has been cast including two time Grammy Nominee Martha Wash, who is well known for the multi platinum single, 'It's Raining Men.' Wash will lead the cast in the zombie parody, I Want to Eat Brains (or the Day I Killed All My Friends). The eclectic mix of actor's credits range from regional, off-off Broadway to Broadway, and National television credits. Other notable casting includes Jeremy Villas in The Bishops. Villas is currently performing as Young Lola in Kinky Boots on Broadway.

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python, and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced, comedy-fueled whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre. On stage in Issaquah starting January 19, this Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning play features four versatile cast members putting on a frenetic show-within-a-show. Based on the novel by John Buchan and the classic film by Alfred Hitchcock, and adapted by Patrick Barlow, The 39 Steps has become a stage favorite not just for its nostalgic spy thriller plot and winking references to Hitchcock, but for the virtuosic clowning required by the farcical stage adaptation, leading it to be one of the longest running plays in the history of London's West End.

The Troubadour Theater Company's Little Drummer Bowie was first presented at the Falcon in 2005, and with the fairly recent passing of iconic musician David Bowie, it seems the perfect time to bring it back. For many Bowie and rock are synonymous, just as director/founder Garry Marshall and the Falcon have been synonymous. Both Marshall and Bowie passed away in 2016. They brought music, love and laughter to the world through the arts, so The Troubadour Theater Company is paying tribute to both men with the revival of this production.

Establishing the Troubadour Theatre Company in 1995, Matt Walker today wears three hats quite well as its founder, artistic director and director. Falcon Theatre Founder, Garry Marshall, has announced the Falcon Theatre's 2016-2017 Five-Play Subscription Season. Falcon Theatre's 15th subscription season brings five entertaining productions to Burbank, including a holiday collaboration with the award-winning Troubadour Theater Company, and a world premiere written by and starring Dan Castellaneta. For the 2016-2017 season, the Falcon has also partnered with Malbec restaurant in Toluca Lake to give subscribers a delicious bonus benefit.

Set in a hospital waiting room following a life-threatening traffic accident, we meet an assortment of people linked to the patient Luke (Tom Berklund), a handsome young gay man still closeted from his conservative and devoutly religious parents Butch (Stephen Mac Howard) and Arlene (Zachary Barton) who are the only ones allowed to visit their son in the ICU.

MACHA Theatre Co. and Treehouse Productions present the Tony Nominated and awarding winning Broadway play NEXT FALL in its 2015-1016 season. Written by Geoffrey Nauffts. NEXT FALL is about two gay men in a committed relationship with a twist, with one, Luke, being devoutly religious and the other, Adam, an atheist. The play revolves around their five-year relationship and how they make it work despite their differences. However, an accident changes everything. NEXT FALL paints a beautiful and funny portrait of modern romance, asking the hard questions about commitment, love, and faith. Directed by Robin Long.

Chae Chaput - a native of Manchester, New Hampshire, who did her undergraduate work at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, where she earned her BA in Theater Arts with a double concentration in Acting and Technical Theater with a minor in film - is one such member of the group.

This Troubie Christmas Show Santa Claus Is Comin' to Motown was first presented at the Falcon in 2004, so seeing it again was like seeing it for the very first time. Who could remember details from 11 years ago? And also, the Troubies are known for adding new jokes and gags consistently. New jokes about Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton in an election year would not have been in the first rendering of this show. I have always attested to the genius of Matt Walker, Beth Kennedy, Lisa Valenzuela and Rick Batalla, whose improv skills surpass any one else's. If I haven't said it outright before, I'm stating it now, they are THE BEST anywhere. And that goes for the entire gang.

Darkly sensual and broodingly sexy, Paul Vasterling's balletic interpretation of Bram Stoker's legendary anti-hero Dracula (first presented in 1999 and revived in 2007) remains as potent and as stirring as ever, richly conceived and beautifully performed by the dancers of Nashville Ballet, who offer  audiences a spine-tingling seasonal adventure.
