The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today published the rules and timeline for the EE British Academy Film Awards 2020, following its annual review of all categories. BAFTA's Film Committee undertakes this review each year in consultation with a wide range of stakeholders across the industry.

Buster Keaton, Badly Drawn Boy and Nosferatu are the latest names confirmed for the Royal Albert Hall's fourth Festival of Film.

Made in Dagenham premiered in London November 9, 2014. Almost 4.5 years later it has it´s opening night Stockholm, Sweden as the adult students at the Musical section at the school Kulturama has chosen it as their spring musical. I think it is fun and very wise to do a musical which has been done before in Sweden as everyone will be able to create their roles without an influence of how it been done before. Although I have seen many musicals in London, I haven't seen this one before. Already at the first tones I thought that this is a musical that I will like as is has happy and positive feeling in the music. The music is written by David Arnold with lyrics by Richard Thomas and the translation into Swedish was made by Johan Schildt.

Boston Landmarks Orchestra (LO) under the direction of Music Director Christopher Wilkins, and Executive Director Jo Frances Meyer, announces its 2019 season of free concerts at the DCR's Hatch Memorial Shell on the Esplanade. The free, public concerts will be held every Wednesday evening at 7pm from July 17 to August 21, 2019.

On the heels of a year that BroadwayWorld.com called 'their best season ever,' Nashville Repertory Theatre will kick off the celebration of its 35th season with a slate of shows designed to appeal to the most discerning of audiences. Nashville Rep artistic director Rene D. Copeland announced the slate last week during a cocktail party at Cabana restaurant in Hillsboro Village, much to the delight - and applause - of those gathered for the big reveal.

Tellico announces the release of a new single, “Courage for the Morning” off their second studio album Woven Waters. The full album is set for release on November 9, 2018 on Organic Records. Legendary Irish musician John Doyle joined the band to produce the nine tracks at the studio of Grammy-nominated engineer David Arnold. Tellico will be on tour in 2018-2019 to promote the project, featuring performances at festivals and listening rooms throughout the South East. Onstage at Pull-Tight Theatre in downtown Franklin June 1-16 is Monty Python's Spamalot, the winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical. Directed by Leslie Berra and produced by Jeremy Hargis, Spamalot is the outrageous musical comedy lovingly ripped from the film classic 'Monty Python and The Holy Grail.' Spamalot tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail.

Now onstage at Brentwood's Towne Centre Theatre, Ludwig's Shakespeare in Hollywood (not to be confused with the musical Shakespeare in Love, which is based on an Oscar-winning film) once again takes audiences to 1934 to tell the story of the mirthful hijinks surrounding Austrian stage director Max Reinhardt's efforts to film an adaptation of his Hollywood Bowl production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Reinhardt's film treatment of the work is, perhaps, more critically acclaimed now than when it was first released back during the heady days of Hollywood's golden era and the director has been lauded with praise for his one and only film that starred several silver screen legends in roles that went creatively against type, presenting the actors with tremendous challenges.

The year is 1934 and Shakespeare's most famous fairies, Oberon and Puck, have magically materialized on the Warner Bros. lot as director Max Reinhardt stages his film adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, resulting in what is described as a "hilarious comic romp" - Shakespeare in Hollywood - from playwright Ken Ludwig.

Due to demand, The New Group has announced a three-week extension for Jerry Springer - The Opera, with Matt McGrath appearing as Jerry Springer beginning March 13.  Terrence Mann, currently appearing in the role of Jerry Springer, plays his final performance March 11 due to an existing commitment beyond that date.

The New Group has announced today that Terrence Mann and Will Swenson will star in the company's Off-Broadway premiere of Jerry Springer - The Opera, as 'Jerry Springer' and 'Warm-Up / Satan,' respectively.

This weekend, for the first time, a James Bond score was performed in its entirety, as the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra accompanied a screening of the 2006 film Casino Royale. This was Daniel Craig's first outing as the British secret agent; coincidentally he has recently confirmed he will be returning to the role in the future, following speculation that his appearance in Spectre would be his last.
