Jean Doumanian Productions and Barrow Street Theatre presents director David Cromer's acclaimed staging of Thornton Wilder's Our Town. The production required a complete redesign of the theater space. This production marks the official debut collaboration between Jean Doumanian Productions and Barrow Street Theatre who recently announced a creative partnership to bring innovative works and artists to Off Broadway, and will take place during the 70th anniversary year of Our Town's Broadway premiere (Pulitzer Prize, 1938). This staging of Wilder's timeless play in which the action takes place in, among and around the audience, creating an intimacy between actors and audience and a powerful encounter with the play's searching questions about family, community and mortality.
