Street Theatre Company Slates Auditions for 2013 Shows

AUDITIONS

Auditions for Baby (Director: Elizabeth Hayes); Spring Awakening (Director: Martha Wilkinson); Colored Museum (Director: John Royal) will be held on Saturday, January 19th, 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, January 20th, 4-9 p.m at Street Theatre, 1933 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37216. Individual callbacks will be scheduled following the open call.

Please bring a headshot and resume for EACH show you are auditioning for. Please prepare 16 bars of a song, and bring sheet music in appropriate key (an accompanist will be provided-no CD's please), and a monologue, no longer than two minutes. All ethnicities encouraged.

Special notes:
Colored Museum: Not all roles involve singing, so auditionees for that show may choose to audition with a monologue only.

Spring Awakening: Please make sure you are completely familiar with the show. There are brief moments of nudity, adult situations and language. Due to these elements, casting will be ages 18 & up. If you feel uncomfortable with the material & subject matter and you do not feel you can approach this show with a level of professionalism, commitment and maturity then PLEASE do not audition.
