Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Jason Reeves is set to release his first full-length album in four years on August 16, Due on all digital retailers, "The Lovesick" represents the "true" follow up to 2007's The Magnificent Adventures of Heartache (and other Frightening Tales), which received widespread critical acclaim; including "Top Indie Singer Songwriter" and "Top Folk Album" honors from iTunes.

Produced by Adam Smith, The Lovesick features an "edgier" sound that showcases Reeves' unique blend of modern folk and pop sensibilities. It also features collaborations with American Idol alum Kara DioGuardi, as well as Reeves' frequent collaborator, singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat. Reeves co-wrote 20 tracks on Caillat's two platinum albums; including the smash hit singles "Bubbly," "Realize" and "I Never Told You". He also currently co-wrote the title track for Caillat's brand new album "All of You."

The Lovesick includes two previously released singles: "Helium Hearts" as well as "Sticks and Stones," which is currently spinning at Hot AC radio. Both are currently available from all digital retailers.

Beatweek calls Reeves "a rising star of 2011" in its June issue, while ArtistDirect says of The Lovesick: "Jason Reeves has crafted an elegantly entrancing pop masterpiece that's as hypnotic as it is heartbreaking. Reeves pens songs with a mastery a la Bob Dylan and a sense of wonder reminiscent of Coldplay. He's made an incredible, infectious opus that anyone can feel after just one listen."

This week, the multi-talented Reeves can be seen stepping out of his pop/folk skin as he covers Nicki Minaj's "Moment 4 Life" on Billboard's "Mash-Up Mondays". The video is winning rave reviews from fans and even a tweet from Nicki herself. View here.

Jason has built a strong and loyal following through years of touring. Those efforts continue with a series of dates in August and September, including two shows in his native Iowa. All dates are listed below.
