PETER PAN Continues At Woodbury's Arts Center of Cannon County Through 11/17

Karen Lewis directs Peter Pan-based upon Sir James M. Barrie's 1904 play about the boy who refuses to grow up-is onstage in Woodbury through November 17, the latest in Arts Center of Cannon County's 2012 Stagedoor Series.

The story begins in the London nursery of Wendy, John, and Michael Darling, where the three children are visited by Peter Pan. With the help of his tiny friend, the fairy Tinkerbell, Peter takes the three children on a magical flight to Never Land. This enchanted island is home to Peter, Tink, the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily and her Native American nation, and the scheming Captain Hook who is as intent on defeating Peter Pan as he is from escaping the tick-tocking crocodile that once ate a hand of his that Peter Pan cut off.

Directed by Lewis and produced by Murray Martin, Peter Pan features MacKenzie Lewis as Peter Pan, Tom Marcrom, Weston Foster as Captain Hook, Charlette Myhre as Wendy, Emily Conley as John, Sarah Hayes, Ella Phillips as Michael. The cast also includes Rachael Parker, Zach Hughes, Adam LaPorte, Emily Nave, Noah Lee, Isaac Lee, Annabelle Lee, Sammy Mai, Sarah Oppman, Sarah Kate Helton, Shelby Jones, Zoe Houghton, Katherine Elizabeth Jordan, MiChelle Davis, Miranda Reed, Shelley Harris, Darcie Lee, MAndi Davis, Sarah Anderson, Cooper Nichols, Ric Kinkade, Matt Henry, Jim Shemwell, Jonathan Hidgon, Pearce Kinkade, Payton Campbell Dylan Duke, Jeffrey LaPorte, Suzanne Myhre, Jadrienne Myhre, and Kalyn Choate.

Performances are scheduled Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through November 17. Doors to the theater open at 7 p.m. for all Friday and Saturday evening shows and curtain is at 7:30 p.m. For the Sunday performances, the doors open at 1:30 p.m. and curtain is at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 with discounts available for students, seniors and groups and may be purchased by calling the Arts Center box office at (615) 563-2787 or (800) 235-9073.Tickets may also be purchased online at www.artscenterofcc.com. The Blue Porch @ Arts Center restaurant is now open before all performances.

The Arts Center is located on 1424 John Bragg Highway, just west of the town of Woodbury, approximately 20 minutes from Murfreesboro, Manchester, and McMinnville and one hour southeast of Nashville.
