Boiler Room Theatre revives its award-winning production of The Rocky Horror Show for six performances in October, running October 26 through November 3, including two midnight shows and a special Halloween performance.

Last year, the Boiler Room Theatre’s The Rocky Horror Show received rave reviews from Nashville.BroadwayWorld.com, the Tennessean, ArtNowNashville and the Nashville Scene

The cult favorite follows clean-cut Brad (Mike Baum) and Janet (Britt Byrd) as they run into trouble and seek help at the freaky Frankenstein mansion. Little do they know that the mansion is inhabited by alien transsexuals from the planet Transylvania…and that Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Geoff Davin) is about to embark in his most ambitious experiment yet.  Featuring the songs “Time Warp,” “Sweet Transvestite,” “Hot Patootie” and “Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me” to name a few, the Boiler Room Theatre’s The Rocky Horror Show aims to be deliberately kitchy, delightfully dirty, and all-around raucous good time.  Audience participation is encouraged.

“I don’t think we were even halfway through the original run of this production when audience members started talking to us about bringing it back for Halloween in 2012,” says Corbin Green, BRT managing director. “I can’t tell you how thrilled we are that so many of the original cast members made themselves available to come back.”

The Rocky Horror Show stars returning cast members Geoff DavinMelodie Madden AdamsMike BaumBritt Byrd, Jordan Tudor, Ryan Leyhue, Kyle Mothershead, Corrie Miller, Jeremy Maxwell,Brandon McCabe and Patrick Kramer as well as new additions Lauri Gregoire and Jack Chambers.  Director Megan Murphy Chambers is rejoined by choreographer Pam Atha, costume designer Billy Ditty, set designer Anthony Popolo, musical director Jamey Green and stage manager Jayme Smith.

Performances will be held every Tuesday and Saturday evening during the run at 8 p.m. with a special 8 p.m. show on Halloween.  There will be special midnight showings on Friday, October 26 and Friday, November 2.  Tickets are $27 and may be purchased by calling the Boiler Room Theatre at (615) 794-7744 or ordered online at www.boilerroomtheatre.com.
