Asa Ambrister directs a five person cast that includes Patrick Goedicke, Ann Street-Kavanagh, Daniel DeVault, Tammy Sutherland, and Brian Cunningham in Encore Theatre Company's production of Deathtrap, opening October 26 and running through November 10.

Ambrister describes Deathtrap, written by Ira Levin, as a "wickedly funny who'll-do-it," in which a once-successful playwright must decide if he is willing to kill for another hit play. Deathtrap was nominated for four Tony Awards, and holds the record of having the longest run of any comedy-thriller in Broadway history, playing 1,793 performances.

Written by Levin-the author of Rosemary's Baby, The Stepford Wives and the Broadway version of No Time for Sergeants-Deathtrap plays at Encore Theatre Company in Mt. Juliet October 26-November 10, with performances Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm, and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm. A dinner show is scheduled for Saturday, November 3.
